Brian is a highly successful and visionary entrepreneur with extensive experience in both the professional services industry & the international not for profit sector. Among many of his achievements, Brian purchased the outplacement division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers and built it into a Western Canadian success story, selling it to Right Management in 2002.
He also started and built the Calgary executive search practice of Maxwell Drummond before taking the helm as executive director of Operation Eyesight, an international non-profit organization that invests in the sustainable treatment of preventable blindness around the world.
He is past president of the Human Resources Institute of Alberta, past Chair of the North American Human Resources Association, a Director of both the Alberta Council for Global Cooperation & Optometry Giving Sight Canada and an executive coach. If you don’t know Brian, you should, because he probably knows – or knows of – you.
Michael Holditch, BComm, CA

Michael started his exceptional career with KPMG where he became manager of their Financial Advisory Services Group specializing in Corporate Finance and Business Valuations, and from 1994 to 2014, was a member of the Calgary Flames executive. He commenced his Flames career as Controller for the Calgary Flames Limited Partnership, then became VP Finance and CFO where he was involved in the acquisition of the WHL’s Calgary Hitmen and served as Alternate Governor for the Hitmen from 1997 through 2003, where he sat on the WHL’s Board of Governors and as a member of the WHL Executive Committee.
In 2003, he joined the Calgary Flames Hockey Operations group as Senior VP of Hockey Operations and Assistant GM where he was responsible for the day-to-day direction of hockey operations. This included Collective Bargaining Agreement interpretation and management, team development, administration and tracking of player compensation, salary cap management, player contract negotiations, player salary arbitration, scheduling and contract review and documentation. He remained CFO of the Calgary Flames Limited Partnership through the conclusion of 2009; thereafter he focused solely on hockey operations including the management and operation of the Flames farm clubs.
During Michael’s tenure with the Calgary Flames, he also served as a Director and Treasurer of the Flames Foundation for Life and was a director of, and responsible for the operations of, each of the entities responsible for operating the Flames developmental programs in Omaha, Nebraska; Moline, Illinois; Abbotsford, British Columbia and Glens Falls, New York. Most recently, Michael joined the inaugural Board of Directors of Foothills Lemonade Day Ltd., a local not-for-profit entity incorporated to introduce entrepreneurship to Alberta youth – Michael also serves as Treasurer of this organization.
