Government of Alberta Funding - Shuttle Program
Transition to Employment Services
Higher Landing has recently partnered with the Government of Alberta to help unemployed professionals in Calgary get back to work. Our shared purpose is to identify a limited number of best-suitable candidates who will most benefit from Higher Landing’s flagship Shuttle Program. The Shuttle Program includes 1-on-1 coaching, workshops and presenting in front of a live panel of decision-makers in our Grizzly Den. Individuals who qualify will have their Shuttle program fully funded by the Alberta Government.
This program requires a 2-3 month commitment. The program requires that you be available on weekdays, attend 7 workshops, participate in 8 coaching sessions, develop a Branding Brief, Go-To-Market Strategy and present to Higher Landing’s Grizzly Den. You will also be required to devote additional time to completing assignments, developing your resume and LinkedIn profile, networking, participating in Higher Landing’s online career evaluation and self-paced job search portal, the Landing Port.
To qualify for this program, you must:
- be a professional living in the Calgary area
- be unemployed and have an active or recent EI claim
- be looking for full-time, permanent employment
- not be enrolled in another government-funded training program
- be ready, willing and able to begin work immediately
