Career Bootcamp

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND. The Career Boot Camp is a condensed 10-week version of Higher Landing’s successful shuttle program . Participants will learn how career management and job search has changed forever in Canada, especially post COVID-19 and will receive the tools and education to: 

• Discover how to land a purposeful job in one of Canada’s worst ever recessions

• Connect your head to your heart to understand your value beyond hard skills

• Assess a pivot or remain in your current industry

• Build a career aligned to the new reality of work

• Be ready to thrive in the post-COVID-19 economy

Content will address future work trends, the post-COVID economy and jobs, burgeoning industries and how to pivot to a new career if desired. This program is geared to teach individuals how to build a purpose-driven career while also learning the basics of resume and LinkedIn preparation as well as how to strategically market themselves in a highly competitive environment.

Individuals will work in a collaborative online environment and participate in a series of workshops, clinics. The program will also address how to overcome the mental and emotional challenges that often accompany job uncertainty and learn how to believe in themselves while navigating through these uncharted economic times.
