Shuttle Program

This is Higher Landing's flagship 6 month program that is delivered by a multi-faceted team of professionals who provide career transition and transformation. It takes the traditional transition process to a new level with a proprietary approach that aims to connect head with heart, and identify strengths, interests, values, identity and purpose.

The program goes further to offer personal branding and strategic marketing components. These services set a new industry standard helping to uncover hidden opportunities and achieve not just career transition, but career transformation as well as tap into the "hidden job market". This program is found to substantially improve "landing rates" and also provides access to mentors - including Grizzlies.

This results-focused program extends far beyond resume assistance and involves three comprehensive steps:

1.  Transition
Progressive one-on-one career transition sessions with a qualified Higher Landing Career Transformer that engage each transformation client in a self-discovery process that connects their head with their heart, and identifies strengths, values, passions, and purpose.

2.  Branding
Utilizing the guidance of our creative team, the client will work to define their own unique "brand" and uncover what makes them remarkable through coaching sessions, workshops, and clinics.

 3.  Marketing
Strategic marketing training and advice, including access to the Marketing Coach and "Market Yourself Like a Pro" workshops which cover direct marketing training to decision makers. This also includes an opportunity to present to Higher Landing's pinnacle event, the Grizzly Den.

 The Shuttle Program includes:

• 6 months’ access to the comprehensive online career evaluation and job search program called the "Landing Port" as well as an orientation session to maximize use of the tool;

• Access to all proprietary workshops and clinics led by industry experts;

• 6 one-on-one career transformation sessions with qualified Career Transformer that works through a change management process to define identity and purpose before going to market;

• Opportunity to present in the Grizzly Den, which is a panel interview comprised of decision makers and executives who determine market readiness and Grizzly Certification;

• Access to a Marketing Coach who will work with you to develop your "Go-to-market" strategy to define target market and marketing approaches;

• Job Developer Club team sessions to review marketing activities and progress;

• Social media review;

• Invitation to attend all live Grizzly Dens as a guest for the duration of the program;

• Access to Higher Landing's Alumni Group and networking events.in perpetuity.

The Landing Port
This comprehensive and self-paced online career evaluation and job search portal includes:

• Psychometric Assessments – 6 separate assessments for career preferences, interests, personality type, values, strengths, and working styles;

• Resume Manager – allows client to instantly populate this tool with a current resume or LinkedIn profile, and create custom resumes, cover letters, thank you notes, among others, for each job opportunity;

• Opportunity Tracker – allows client to search jobs and research companies online, be notified of new opportunities that arise in Indeed, Monster and Workopolis, and save opportunities of interest to this tool to keep track of key dates, communications sent and received, action plans, scheduled interviews, etc.;

• Interview Stream – this state-of-the-art tool allows client to choose from over 7,000 interview questions to create a custom interview where Interview Stream asks the questions and records the candidate’s answers (both audio and video) for review and evaluation. Candidates can send recorded interviews to anyone with an email address to receive parallel evaluation and feedback;

• Numerous other resources including networking skills and strategies, negotiating a job offer and integrating the client into their new job.

Workshops & Clinics
Workshops and clinics target all components of resume development, social media, presentation skills, knowing and launching your brand, marketing and pitching yourself to prospective employers and more. This is also an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded individuals.

Clients have the option to extend this to Higher Landing's Gemini Program should they wish to experience additional coaching sessions.

This program also supports those interested in entrepreneurial endeavours, Board opportunities and preparing for retirement.

NB:  Although the recommended duration of this program is 6 months, clients may extend their program for up to 12 months from program start date.
