Shuttle for Alberta Professionals (SAP)
A 12-week online career management program for Alberta professionals looking to get back to meaningful employment.
The Province of Alberta is working in partnership with the Government of Canada to provide employment support programs and services.
ABOUT SAP
SAP is a career program dedicated to helping unemployed Alberta professionals, impacted by the evolving nature of the energy industry, get back to meaningful employment. We help you identify your transferable skills to either successfully pivot your career or land a job in other energy fields. For Albertans struggling to navigate their career after an unexpected layoff or feel stuck in a stagnate industry, SAP will help overcome these challenges.
Included in the program:
✓ Group & 1-on-1 Career Coaching with Career Transformer
✓ 12+ Workshops & 11 Practice Clinics
✓ Marketing Advisor + Weekly Marketing Clubs
✓ Extensive Network Building + Alumni Group
✓ Pitch in the Grizzly Den + Grizzly Certification
Commitment: ~25 hours per week over 90 days during normal working hours (Monday - Friday).
There are no costs for successful applicants.

PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS
✓ Be a professional living in the Calgary area who has been impacted by the downturn in oil & gas
✓ Be unemployed and have an active or recent EI claim, or have paid into EI at least 5 of the last 10 years
✓ Be looking for full-time employment
✓ Not be enrolled in another government-funded training program
✓ Be ready, willing and able to begin full-time work immediately
